Who is it for?

Our accelerator is for first- and second-generation migrant founders based in Germany, working on knowledge- or technology-based solutions at the MVP or early traction stage.

Our program consists of exclusive online input sessions for each cohort and community events open to both the cohort and the wider Migrant Founders Community.

When can i Apply?

We run two application cycles per year — one in spring and one in fall. The easiest way to stay informed is by following us on LinkedIn. Please do not send us pitch decks or request early access outside of the application periods.

No – we only accept teams of at least two people.

We want to ensure that someone from your team is always able to participate and that you’ve moved beyond the ideation phase.

The entire program is held in English.

All sessions, mentoring, and communication will be conducted in English.

No, our program is free of charge but highly selective.
The weekly input sessions are held online. Only the Kick-off and the Demo Day take place in person, and attendance is mandatory.
Your startup must be based in Germany or officially registered here. If all team members live outside of Germany, unfortunately you are not eligible at this time. Please also note that in-person attendance at both the Kick-off and Demo Day is mandatory
We do not provide legal support for immigration or naturalization processes, nor do we support startups that are planning to expand into Germany from abroad. Our program is designed for startups that are already operating in Germany and looking to grow locally.
  • Yes, every startup will recieve a 2000€ financial allowance for the duration of our program.
  • Please note the regularities regarding usage of the allowance:

You can spend up to €2,000 gross on costs associated with entrepreneurial activities during the batch, particularly those related to prototype development and business model validation.

At the start of the programme, you will receive the €2000 as a lump sum to your private account and can then place orders and make payments yourself. At the end of the programme, you will submit a statement of account to the TMA Management. The process is explained in detail below.
